Once again, for our August excursion, it was solely my sister and me. We ventured to Yosemite and captured numerous photos at May Lake.

At the trailhead, there’s a creek. It’s not always filled with water, but on this occasion it was. It gave me the opportunity to take a first-of-the-day reflection photograph.

The wind disturbed the calm surface of the lake, taking away its mirror-like reflectivity.

During a moment of calm, my camera was ready. That moment of stillness allowed me to capture a perfect reflection of Mt. Hoffman. It felt like a double blessing seeing the majestic landscape mirrored in the water.
