FotoPosa skipped our April and May outings, opting instead for a leisurely walk in Yosemite National Park this June. I wasn’t sure what we were aiming to photograph, so I set my Nikon D3300 to “P” — that’s Program Auto, where the camera handles the f/stop and shutter speed (perfect for relaxed shooting when inspiration is freeform).
It was a quick drive into the park and an easy bus ride to Mariposa Grove. From there, we took a short stroll along the boardwalk among the towering redwoods.
Unfortunately, one member of our group had to head back early due to a migraine, so my sister and I continued on a bit farther into the forest.
You can read more about that adventure over at Hiking Yosemite and Beyond. Until next time, happy shooting!
