We traveled across Tioga Pass to reach the eastern edge of Yosemite National Park, then continued on to Lee Vining in Mono County. While California isn’t famous for its fall colors, that was the focus of this month’s Fotoposa outing. Here’s what we encountered through our lenses.

Tioga Pass spans 47 miles, linking Yosemite to Lee Vining. At an elevation of 9,945 feet, it holds the title of the highest road in California.

We began to see some fall colors when we reached the bottom of the pass viewing the vibrant transformation through our cameras.

Our photographic journey revealed autumn’s beauty capturing the mustard-yellow and golden hues in every frame.

Until next time…happy shooting.
