Tuolumne Falls in Yosemite National Park.

One June morning my youngest son and I hiked the trail to Glen Aulin before the High Sierra Camp opened. After eating our sack lunches, he wanted to get into the water to swim.  Sometimes you can, but the river was swift that early in the season.  What you don’t see in the photograph is, a few yards away was another section of the waterfall.  If he had gotten in, he most certainly would have been swept down the river and over the fall.

I chose to post this photo because my son recently asked me if I would like to take the hike to Glen Aulin again this summer.
