Once a month a group of friends and I—who call each other FotoPosa—get together for photo shoots. It was a cool spring morning when we met at the Stockton Creek trailhead near home.

Stockton Creek reservoir.
We began at the west end of the trail and walked for about a mile hoping to photograph wildflowers.

A barbed fence marked private property.
As we rounded a bend toward the sunnier side of the trail, we found pretty face, popcorn, lupine, hounds tongue, buckbrush, blue dick and more. The slightly overcast day created better lighting for photographing the flowers.

- Popcorn
- Lupine
- Hounds tongue
- Buck brush
- Blue dick
nice work

FotoPosa? Where’d that name come from?
Loved the flowers.

FotoPosa–our group made it up during one of our first meetings. A combination of the word “photo” and our town’s name.
